Our Early Years’ programme spans from Pre-K to KG2. At IAA, we believe in the power of early education to spark curiosity and ignite a lifelong love of learning, providing a nurturing environment where young minds can flourish.
Through the early years, we prioritise the holistic development of each child, focusing on key areas such as communication and language, personal, social, emotional, and physical development. Learning is framed around specific areas of Literacy, Mathematics, Understanding the World, and Expressive Arts and Design.
One of the unique aspects of our kindergarten programmes is their diverse curricula. In PreK and KG1 we use The National Curriculum for England’s Early Years Foundation Stage. In KG2, mathematics is delivered through the Australian Mathematics curriculum and literacy through The National Curriculum for England. The International Primary Curriculum underpins our Integrated Studies.Through these curricula, students develop lifelong capacities for creative thinking, self-confidence, reasoning and dialogue, awareness of others, and readiness and enthusiasm for learning.
Pre-Kindergarten “Olive Branch”
Since 2014, our preschool has been an integral part of our school community, welcoming young learners into a nurturing environment where their journey begins with healthy growth and happiness. We are dedicated to fostering each child's development, ensuring they are well-prepared for their transition into the larger school community. Our curriculum includes sensory play areas and a focus on emotional intelligence. At our preschool, we believe in cultivating the leaders of tomorrow by providing a strong foundation for the learners of today.
KG1-KG2
Our Kindergarten programme begins with our KG1 students and moves on to KG2. In Kindergarten, our young learners embark on an exciting journey of discovery and growth. Our approach is carefully designed to provide a solid foundation for lifelong learning while fostering a bilingual environment that celebrates both English and Arabic languages and prepares students for primary school.
Our newly renovated classrooms are designed to prioritise interactive, inquiry-based, hands-on learning experiences. From engaging storytelling sessions that promote language development to mathematical explorations using everyday objects, our curriculum is thoughtfully designed to spark curiosity and creative thinking. Children learn through play, exploration, and collaboration, allowing them to learn while having fun!
