It was a busy weekend, as IAA Hawks took part in several tournaments. IAA swimmers participated in the ASL competition held at AA and ACS whilst the U14 boys and girls basketball teams took part in the AAC Basketball tournament, with the boys reaching the semi-finals and eventually losing out in a very tough game. As for our girls, they played remarkably well and won a very intense nerve-racking final game! Bravo! The AAC Track and Field athletes also took part in a competition and performed superbly, winning lots of medals! A hearty congratulations goes to Farah Rawshdeh who broke the Jordanian record for her age in the 50b breast/swimming. Issam Mina: Mabrook for winning the school Olympic competition in squash and finally congratulations goes to Shahed Odeh who won the silver medal in Jordan’s Taekwondo competition.
