IAA signs official memorandum with the King Hussein Cancer Foundation

This week we were incredibly honored to have Her Royal Highness Princess Dina visit IAA for a special signing ceremony between the King Hussein Cancer Foundation and IAA. By signing this memorandum, the IAA is making an official commitment to support the KHCF through students’ community service efforts. Although we have worked with the KHCF over the past several years, this agreement allows for the relationship to grow to the next level.

Grade 5B Assembly

Today Grade 5B impressed the packed auditorium with their assembly of reciting poetry, performing a dance routine and presenting their interpretation of The Lion King. Through these performances, the students conveyed some important lessons they have been learning in class by focusing on body movement, gestures, and reciting their lines. Job well done to all!
A Visit from a Jordanian semi-finalist on 'Arabs Got Talent'

Mu"taz Al Qawasmi, a Jordanian semi-finalist in 'Arabs Got Talent' visited IAA to perform his amazing free styling football skills for the students and faculty. His talent was so overwhelming it brought everyone to their feet! Thanks to Mu'taz for visiting IAA and for taking the time to meet with the students after his performance. Best of luck in the semi-finals!
Title IAA Dead-2-Red Relay Race Student Team the "2012'ers"

Follow our AMAZING student team "The 2012'ers" as they run the242 kilometer Dead-2-Red Relay Race. Official results are still to be announced, but is appears that the team came in 16th place out of 39 teams with an impressive time of 18 hours and 23 minutes. The sheer fact that these students even attempted this challenge is a major achievement and to complete it in such a quick time makes it all the more reason to celebrate. Congratulations again!

Last week Grade 4G put on a very important Assembly reminding us it is important to recognize and appreciate our differences, because that is what makes us special. We are all unique and have special talents to share with our friends, family and the world. Thanks to 4G doing such a great job and for reminding the IAA community of this important message.
