To be able to understand that all living things need specific habitats in order to survive, our Grade 2C students had the opportunity to learn about the features and diets of dinosaurs and how they once were living beings who evolved to adapt to different habitats. Our little explorers engaged in an activity that enabled them to make inferences about specific dinosaurs and apply their learning by creating a suitable habitat that they think would be able to sustain their assigned dinosaur and its needs! Rocks, leaves, grass, soil, flowers, sticks, and even snails were collected in an attempt to build the "Rawrsome" habitats!
