Grade 2 had a blast meeting and learning from different members of the community during the "Emergency Helpers Fair.”
The students were involved in various hands on activities like practising first aid on potatoes, sitting in the police car, sharing food at the Food Relief Centre, creating bracelets with a home contact number on it and learning about earthquake procedures and safety. This entry point to the study unit "The Active Planet" will definitely be one to be remembered!
