Yesterday, Grade 11 students hosted an Iftar at IAA’s Moon Garden for over 20 orphans from Al Aman Fund. It was a lovely evening filled with delicious food, sports activities, music, prayer and sharing of life stories. Al-Aman Fund for the future of orphans was established in 2006 by Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah to help older orphans who have aged out of orphan-care pursue full time higher education. The Fund supports them financially, educationally and emotionally through a variety of programmes that help them better integrate into society, and become self-reliant and productive members of their communities.
