Staff

The IAA employs a qualified nurse fully trained in the field of nursing for each school, Primary and Secondary. Refreshment training courses occur annually to ensure up-to-date credentials. IAA nurses are available to provide basic First Aid to students and staff throughout the day, at times also providing such aid during sports and other school events outside of school hours. These health care service providers are addiitonally qualified to monitor and cater for students with identified medical conditions. In the Secondary School, the nurse is also involved in the Family Life Curriculum, which is aimed at educating students and parents about issues pertaining to health and development.
