November Secondary Full School Assembly
Sunday, 04 December 2011
The November Secondary Assembly was packed with so many highlights we only got through half of the programme in the hour allotted! This is a testament to all the great activities going on in the Secondary school. From the Religion Department's presentation on the Islamic New Year, to the MUN students showing highlights from their first conference, to the Drama Department's performance... we should be proud of how hard our students are working!
IAA wins AAC Volleyball Championship
Wednesday, 30 November 2011
IAA's Under 14 Girls' Volleyball team played the AAC cup competition yesterday, Tuesday, 29th November 2011. The girls reached the finals through thrilling encounters, beating NES and ABS. Our IAA teams might not have the history of other older schools, or the huge athletic base other schools might have, but what we do have is the courage and the attitude to achieve the impossible. Our IAA volleyball team did just that by beating CMS in the championship match and wining the competition without losing a set! What makes us equally proud is that also the team also won the Sportsmanship Cup. Congratulations to all!
