The students explored the different trees and plants, learning about their names and functions; it was certainly a fun and educational way to appreciate the beauty of nature around us! Keep up the great work, grade 6!

Our grade 7 students had a fantastic #earthday experience with a trip to Iraq Al-Amir last week! Our remarkable students participated in a clean-up activity organized by @ahlalbalad and even learned about the local culture with a visit to the mesmerizing

At the "Iraq Al Amir Women's Cooperative Association", the students got creative in a ceramic and paper workshop, where they learned about recycling and created amazing handcrafts from clay. Way to go, grade 7!
Earlier last week, the IAA Arabic Department in #secondaryschool invited the renowned author Ms. Taghreed Najjar to discuss her book, "Raghda's Hat" with our grade 7 students!

During the book discussion, Ms. Taghreed opened up to the intrigued students and shared a few intimate stories from her childhood that led to her love for reading and current career path. Many informative points were discussed with the students which enabled them to have a better understanding of life by linking what they learned to our school's pillars, such as #acceptance and #cultrureheritage. Thank you for gracing us with your presence Ms. Taghreed!
We are incredibly proud of our students in Grade 5, Ryan Oran, Saif Abdul-Hadi, and Talal Sider who will be performing with their fellow bandmates @thesandwichesband this Friday during the ICS food fair at 4 pm.
