To apply what they learned about tension force, they joined the bridge-building competition where they were given a limited amount of material and time while having to meet specific requirements for dimensions and construction. Earlier last week, their hard work paid off when their bridges were tested! The winning bridge was constructed by Juana Zeidan in Grade 6D for it was able to withstand 20 Kgs! Second place went to Mariam Al Hawamdeh and Natalie Almaslamani whose bridge was able to withstand 14 Kgs! Congratulations to the winners and looking forward to more bridge-building competitions in the future!

The intrigued little ones collected the hail in large quantities from the sails in the playground, put it into trays and took it into all the Early Years classes! They marvelled at the hails' characteristics and observed the similarities and differences between the balls of hail. Proud of our students for always seizing the opportunity to learn!
