“Big Girls Don’t Cry - They Score” by Taleen Khleifat
Monday, 07 November 2016

Taleen Khleifat is not only a student at her senior year at IAA, but also an author. Her book "Big Girls Don"t Cry - They Score” is the culmination of her Grade 10 MYP personal project. It took her 6 months to write the book that recites her story; her struggle to play the sport she loves - soccer.

”It"s a book that all girls should read,” Taleen says. It inspires all girls to follow their dream and not give up.

Her book is currently being sold at the IAA Book Fair and there will be a book signing held at Readers, 7th Circle next Saturday, November 12 at 4:30pm.

We are proud of you Taleen!
