Six IAA athletes participated in the Taekwondo Scotland Championships last week held at Motherwell, Scotland. Jordan was one of nine countries that took part in the tournament.
Congratulations goes to:
-Elena Bisharat (G9) for winning a silver medal in the Kyorugi and a bronze in Poomsae
-Salma Abu Dahab (G6) for winning a silver medal in Poomsae
-Toufiq Bisharat (G6) for winning bronze Kyorugi
-Nadine Baqain (G4) for winning silver in Poomsae, silver in Kyorugi and bronze in the pair Poomsae
-Rashed Abu Dahab (G2) for winning two bronze medals in Kyorugi and Poomsae
-Salman Abu Dahab (G2) for winning bronze in Kyorugi
IAA Students Taking Part In The Taekwondo Championship, Scotland IAA students are among 600 athletes taking part in the Taekwondo Scotland Championship this week. Athletes from Denmark, UK, Norway, Sweden, Holland, Germany, Ireland & Jordan are aiming for gold. Good luck Salma Abu Dahab, Salman Abu Dahab, Rashed Abu Dahab, Tawfiq Bisharat, Elena Bisharat and Nadine Baqain!
IAA student athletes Dana Al Fayez, Zainab Al Shami, Lara Aklouk and Aliya Bushnaq participated in the Jordanian Athletics competition. Aliya managed to break her own 200m record.
In swimming, our athletes participated in the clubs competition and our student athlete Denise Qoursha managed to break several records for the age group.
Also, Salma Abu Dahab, Salman & Rashed Abu Dahab, Tawfeeq Bsharat, Elena Baharat and Nadine Buqain will travel to Scotland for the Scottish Taekwando tournament .
