CAS Trip to Jerash

Over the weekend, and as part of their community service initiatives, IAA Grade 11 students headed to Jerash in support of a local school that is hosting Syrian refugees. Our students were very excited to help the younger students, offering them 500 warm jackets in preparation for the cold winter ahead. Thank you, Grade 11, for your contributions towards a better world!

Harlem Wizards Come to IAA

The world-renowned Harlem Wizards have come to the IAA! The Wizards visited the IAA Sports Complex today to perform for IAA students, spinning, jumping, passing, juggling, and dribbling their way into our hearts. Everyone laughed, screamed and clapped, as students participated in the fun too - showing off their basketball moves to a very excited audience! Thank you, Harlem Wizards, for sharing your whacky humour and mad skills!

IAA Grade 9 student Leen Khasawneh presented at the Queen Rania Teachers Association (QRTA) Teacher Skills Forum on behalf of IAA. She addressed the professional audience on the topic 'The Community Project', an important component of a service-oriented curriculum which seeks to teach students to identify community needs, develop a plan of action, and implement that plan in the real world.
