Support the IAA Dead 2 Red Team!
Wednesday, 10 February 2016
Service -

Dead 2 Red is back! This year IAA staff will be in this exciting race, running ALL NIGHT from 10 to 11 March! This year our team is called, "IAA, All Night for the Fight!” We hope to support the not-for-profit Atfaluna as they help children of any nationality in Jordan who need treatment and medical care, but lack the support and resources to get them. The IAA Dead 2 Red Team would like to raise money through special T-shirts sales, to be worn on Dead 2 Red Day... on 10th March so that students can show their support for their teachers  as we set off to complete this challenge. Please head to the IAA Finance Dept. for more information on purchasing a T-shirt, or simply to make a cash donation to this worthy cause. Help us to support Atfaluna in giving sick children the chance to live a healthy, comfortable and pain-free life, as well as the hope for a brighter future. Thank you for your generosity!

"Life is either a daring adventure or nothing at all.”  -Helen Keller, 'The Open Door'

IAA Grades 10 and 11 enjoyed a Dead Sea bike excursion over the weekend in preparation for the exciting IAA trip to Cambodia this year! An adventurous "Action Trip" designed to challenge students both physically and mentally, Cambodia presents a unique and memorable opportunity for Secondary students to truly venture outside of their comfort zone. The Dead Sea biking trip is a great step towards helping the kids ready themselves for the great journey ahead...

MUN at the National Orthodox School
Sunday, 31 January 2016
Diplomacy -
An IAA Secondary student delegation - and particularly our Grade 8s - joined the National Orthodox School for NOSMUN 2016, a Model United Nations event tackling the critical issues of the day. The Syrian civil war and the consequent refugee crisis in the Middle East and Europe were among the many topics explored and debated in a sophisticated simulation of the real-world UN. Thank you to the National Orthodox School for hosting our future diplomats!
